The mapping function is super easy to use in IFTDSS - but can I make maps for my fuels projects in IFTDSS? How do I export them?

Thanks Annie - another great question. There is no formal map capture tool within the Map Studio at this time. Map images can be captured at any point within an IFTDSS module using a screen capture tool such as “Snag It”. These image captures can then be used in external documents as PNG or JPG files. Major developments to improve mapping capabilities in IFTDSS are currently underway.

Currently, templated maps can be downloaded/printed from reports created and saved in your workspace. They will be based on your landscape extent and can display landscape data, fire behavior outputs, and area of interest polygons.
