I think it is just me, but whenever I import the exported TIFFs into ArcGIS Map or ArcGIS Pro, the symbology just doesn't work.
After I load the .lyr file, I set the data source. But then in the Symbology dialog box for the layer, there's no Primary symbology selected. And the Field 1 box is empty. There are values with colors and labels, but they are not associated with the right things on the map (the colors are truly beautiful, but not right).
When I try to re-set the symbology, I can only choose Stretch. After I do that, then only two other symbology options avail themselves (RGB and Vector Field, neither of which are helpful). All I want is the unique value option and then I can pick the right band, right?
When I try it in ArcGIS Map, I get similar results. Cool psychedelic colors, but not the right ones. I just can't seem to get it to give me unique values on one band. Should I export out the TIFF bands as individual rasters? (Not sure how to do that.) Any clue on what I'm doing wrong?
In talking with our GIS folks, they have this advice.
***************
It sounds like she is trying to add the *.lyr file and then add the TIFF, which isn't what she needs to do. She should add the TIFF and then the bands that she wants.
By the way, I just exported all the layers as separate grids. That solves my immediately problem, but I would sure like to know why I can't get it load properly with all the bands intact. :/

Thank you! I'll read through all the help documents. I'm sure it is something funky I'm doing wrong.
In the meantime, exporting the bands worked.
Thanks again,
:)

Hi Petronila,
I was having the same symbology issues and I did one thing that helped. Make sure that your IFTDSS model output file names are less than 13 characters with only underscore as special character. ArcGIS does not like greater than 13 for raster files. Also, I have not been able to get the re-classification process for flame length and ROS to work right in ArcGIS Pro. I have been on with ESRI support and they cannot figure it out on my Pro software. It works fine for me in ArcMap (ArcGIS Desktop). Keep us posted if you fix the symbology issue resolved in ArcGIS Pro. THANKS

ArcPro symbology is now easier to work with when using data exported from IFTDSS!
This week with the release of IFTDSS Version 3.10, you'll notice two symbology folders included with your downloads, "Symbology_ArcPro" and "Symbology_ArcMap".
We also added walkthroughs on matching IFTDSS symbology in ArcPro in the Help Center. These are listed under the "Using Downloads" section, and can also be found under "My Workspace>Downloads" topics.
Thanks to everyone who brought this use case to our attention. We know it's been a need out there for a while and the Development team was happy to finally be able to update these capabilities.
