Hey Rod - Thanks for posting your suggestion. We all agree that having a place for notes and the ability to edit them for the fire modeling runs is important. After doing a run if there are things that you want to change for the next run the notes section is a good place for that, but we realize what you are saying that you don't know that until after the run is completed. Part of the issue with editing has to do with the fact that when the run is used in other comparisons or workflows in IFTDSS it cannot be edited as everything associated with that run would have to be edited as well...
Changing how these runs work together is not insurmountable - it might be that there is an initial opportunity to edit the notes immediately after the run is done... but once the run is used in other places it may not be possible? Or perhaps we could make it so you could at least add an additional line of notes rather than edit an existing note.... hmmm
Kind of thinking out loud here - great suggestion and we will take this up with our developers to see what is possible!
Thanks again for reaching out we love to hear ideas!

It would be helpful to edit the notes of an LCP or Output after the initial creation is saved. For example- I forgot to put the RAWS that I used for a run as I was setting it up. Now that it is completed it won't let me add additional information without creating a new run. I also like to add notes about the results of the run. That allows me to refer back and see what was good or bad about it.
It would also be good for the reports to include the notes, or at least the rule edits to an LCP. Also, it would be great to have a line to fill in the RAWS used and have it show up on the title page under inputs
